I really haven’t posted too much about my current ‘programmer status’ so I figured I would fill everyone in on what is currently going on.  I have decided to try and get into an affordable college for Computer Science – Theoretical Track.  I applied to a college near me last week that has a good CS program along with a programming team and co-ops.  Right now I’m just working on learning OOP with Python and I’m also doing a few little projects.  I hope to start learning either Django or Pygame some time soon and the projects I’m working on now will be released in the blog when they are finished.

I should also note that I’m still seeking a summer internship but it is pretty hard to find one in this economy on top of competing against college kids that already have previous experience. If I can’t find an internship soon I will be focusing most of my free time on prototyping a large scale project, possibly an online multiplayer role playing game (morpg).
